Papawin Co., Ltd. traces its origins back to the establishment of Hi-Coat (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in 1994 at Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The company was the first manufacturer of water-slide decal paper in Thailand and the fifth in the world at that time, following Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea, under the brand Hi-Cal.


In 1999, Papawin Co., Ltd. was founded in Taling Chan, Bangkok, as the official distributor in Thailand, expanding the product portfolio under the brands Hi-Cal, Hi-Jet, Hi-Sub, and Hi-Care.
